Challenges
- Most of the 3M car care products were already a best seller on Amazon and with the growing AMS spends, the brand was finding it difficult to come up with new ways for growth.
- For last few years, their same product line (select SKUs) was contributing 80% of the portfolio and there were no HERO products being launched or in the pipeline.
- With the price increase over the last few years, the end consumer pricing got increased which led to losing market share to competitors low ASP products.
What we did
Buyer Journey
We study the entire portfolio and understood the FAB (Features, Advantages and benefits) to end consumers. We picked up “Interior cleaning” as one of the use case which was not yet explored by 3M to the fullest.
Bundle SKUs
We understood how consumers are using the product & created a buyer journey map. We identified products (Sponge, Brush) which can be used with the 3M products (Foaming Interior & Dashboard Dresser) at the time of application.
Sourcing
We hunted and zeroed down couple of products which deliver the same quality / experience to end consumers at a better pricing
Packaging
Our in-house team developed the state of art packaging design of the box and created 3D designs (as per brand guidelines) & manufactured it
Results
A+ listings on amazon to deliver the rich experience.

- Products sourced from the market: Sponge, Brush (approved by 3M)
- With in these 6 months of launching (6th Jan’23), the product has crossed total GMS of 10L.
